The booster packs are very cool. I'd highly suggest you get them to offset your starter deck. I went online with Eye of Judgement and people had all kinds of cards I had never seen before. The only way to get them is to either buy the pre-made decks or buy booster packs. Plus you have a chance to to get an ultra-rare card per pack. I happen to know for a fact thought that only one in thirty six booster packs have the ultra-rare card.

The booster packs will be what makes this game really great. Like all CCG, the variety that comes with the booster packs gives excitement and diversity to the hands you already have. There are plenty of cheats that take away from the game like copying decks but stick to the true nature of the game and youll have great fun.

Booster Pack ad more dimension to the game and expands the game play, awesome!

The price is a little high, but the only place I can buy these is about 80 miles away :(. So it is this or nothing.

Note to seller...... if you lowered the price a little I would buy a lot more.

You don't need booster packs to play the game. But, once you have beat the computer a few a times with the starter deck, then the booster packs enhance the gaming experience by allowing you to construct your deck with a lot of different cards.

Now, you are not guarantee to have all the cards that you want (unless you are willing to spend a lot of money). However, I think that's what makes these collectible games so much fun.

Is it me or does this 3-pack of boosters ($14.97) cost more on here than if you bought 3 individual booster packs ($3.99 each)???

This game is AWESOME. If you enjoy being at the cutting edge of video gaming, buy this.
EOJ is a strategy card game (like Magic the Gathering) only it's played on the PS3!
The PS3 uses it's Eye Toy camera to read and recognize the playing cards.
Think "Star Wars Battle Chess" (you know, the one Chewbacca and R2-D2 played) only better!
This game is another fine example of the PS3 being a lot better and more future forward than the Xbox 360.

Like the first reviewer im a little puzzled over the price, $18 for 3 packs when the booster pack cost $3.99 each!

I noticed that individual packs are not available right now, but the more expensive 3 pack is!

As i say... it depends of your situation... if you are in USA... and you can buy separate Booster Packs on a retailer shop, toy store or whatever... this kind of buy is stupid...

But... if you're like me... living in a foreing country... where i can't buy a single booster... or if they exist there and are too expensive... you have to buy this pack... i will explain better:

Third parties sellers sell one booster pack for 3.99... ok... but where's the shipping?... well... 3.99 plus 3.99 (shipping) makes a 7.98 U$S booster... hmm...

Well... if there's an option that let you buy more than one item of the same third party seller, (if you buy directly from amazon you can)... and you don't have to pay more than one shipping cost... tell me... please...

Continuing with the maths... 7.98 plus 7.98 plus 7.98 (this will be 3 booster packs) equal to 23.94

Again... 23.94 vs the offer of 16.94 (with shipping cost included) is 7 dollars more!!!... you're gaining 7 dollars... is not much... but it is something...

Conclussions:
- If you live outside of the US, and you want to buy boosters (at least 3 of them), buy this pack... it's better for you, money conversion and things like that you know that makes it expensive...
- If you live in the US... well... man... take a walk... see the scenery... go to a shopping, toy store, or whatever... and buy it... ok?
