This review is from: Judgment and Decision Making in Accounting (Paperback)
This book is an excellent overview of the major theories that impact accounting judgment and decision making. Too many people forget, or don't know, that accounting isn't made up of distinct rules with yes/no answers - there are many opportunities for financial results to be changed through a good/bad decision by an accountant.
The only thing that keeps this book from being four stars - it needs to be even longer and more detailed. This is an extremely relevant topic in today's world.

This review is from: Judgment and Decision Making in Accounting (Paperback)
If you are a PhD student in Accounting and your interests lie in Behavioral Research in Accounting, this text is a must read. Even if your interest lies in economic theory, this text will broaden your perspective on factors that are not considered in economic models.
This text is well-thought out and well written. Enjoy! |
