If you're not a Judy Canova fan you'd likely have no interest in this LP. But if you ARE this album is her at her classic best (as "Ma" and "Two-Gun Judy" (with a Mae West twang) with a full supporting cast of characters and stars, including Mel Blanc in two roles as "Pa" and "Tex", Joesph Kearns (Mr. Wilson from TV's Dennis the Menace) as cousin "Lukey" and the town sheriff, Verna Felton (outspoken neighbor lady from TV's December Bride) as "Cactus Annie", and Sheldon Leonard (TV multi-role actor and producer) as the Indian Chief. Classic comedy actor Hans Conreid also appears as an announcer.
Timeless "country corn" humor served up by the best performers in the business. "Pa, wake up, the chicken coop is burning!" "Quiet, Ma, I'm praying for rain!"
