Judy's guests on the TV shows in this DVD volume connected with Judy and this is one of my top favorites in her complete series. Martha Raye and Judy's medley is hilariously entertaining. Knowing that both of them were married to David Rose at different times gave me the feeling that they shared some inner connection in their time together during the show.
Peter Lawford was a good friend of Judy's so the bits between them came across as them showing respect and having fun in their skits. And it was fun and entertaining to watch. Vic Damone loved Judy and the numbers that they sang together were enchanting and vibrant at the same time. He was on her show two other times and the chemistry is totally there. I love it. Chita Rivera's numbers with Judy also showed an underlying sincere friendship which made extremely pleasant watching. The bottom line is that this DVD is so musically and comically entertaining that no one who loves the old style of entertainment should miss out on viewing it.
