5.0 out of 5 stars A family's shattering tragedy, June 5, 2010
This review is from: Judy: The Murder of My Daughter, the Healing of My Family (Paperback)
Judy Mullins Freels was a young wife, mother, and Christian. Active in her church and community, she was a shining example of one who put God first in her life. In the early morning hours of September 7, 1994, Judy's body was discovered in her parents' driveway. She had been brutally murdered. Suspicion soon focused on Judy's estranged husband, Russell.

Judy's story is sensitively and lovingly told by her mother, Mattie. Mrs. Mullins writes openly and honestly of her grief, despair, and anger. When Russell and two others are charged with Judy's murder, Mattie and her pastor husband Kelver struggle to forgive their once-loved son-in-law. Although their family and friends close ranks around them, Mattie and Kelver's best source of healing is the Bible, and what Jesus had to say about forgiveness.

I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is experiencing grief after loss, or struggling to forgive.
