Clear descriptions, excellent book, March 21, 2001
This review is from: Juggling for All (Paperback)
This book was recommended to my family by a professional juggler, so it wasn't surprising that the book is excellent.
First, it covers a brief history of juggling. Next it has basic instruction, so people who have no previous juggling experience should be able to learn easily from this book. (Although I cannot attest personally to that fact.) If, like me, you already know how to juggle three objects with ease, you should definitely buy this book! Beginner juggling is covered clearly, but that is not the focus of the book at all.
I have learned many new juggling skills from this book, including throwing under the leg, behind the back, and two person club passing! The books covers variations on 3 balls; basic rings, clubs, and torches; 4 and 5 balls; 2 person patterns (including clubs); the balancing of various objects; and the basics of getting an act together.
This is absolutely the best juggling book out there, written by two professionals, and every juggler should own a copy.
