As a new parent, i constantly look for books about parenting . When i got Erin's book, i wasn't quite sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised, as its really practical and easy to read. This book teaches simple discipline strategies that are explained in step-by-step method that work for children of all ages and and offers practical and sensible suggestions for everyday situations. What i found really helpful was a work-book guide style of writing with interactive questions and scenarios , which give reader an opportunity to practice Erin's "tricks" and decide what would they say and do in each situation. By giving your child choices , you show them that they are being treated with respect , which i find really important. "Juggling Family Life" is a great book for parents who are trying to find that balance between family and personal time.
