Durable ball for use in pitching machines,

These Jugs dimpled baseballs are designed primarily just for use in high-grade baseball pitching machines, & I can attest that they serve this purpose relatively well. I would point out, however, that these balls will lack the physics of a typical baseball with stitching.
The price of these balls is competitive with that of lower cost leather-covered baseballs &, therefore, not a bad deal. However, one obviously does not have the other advantages of a real baseball, such as the stitching- which makes these not useful for pitching or fielding practice. Where these balls really stand out is their durability, including being weatherproof. Unlike a baseball, for example, these could be left outside without too much detriment to their performance. Also, unlike similar looking balls we've encountered in commercial batting cages, these don't have that 'stiff-as-a-brick' like quality- although you still don't want to be hit by one.
