The new Juice Box is an incredibly well buit product. The rubber protected design is awsome, it has an incredably big screen fo the size it is, has a number of videos that can reach many diffren ages from kid to adult, the fact that it has mp3 capabilites is just the coolest (you wont get that from video now) and it can store pictures. That was the good the bad is you cant put videos on a card just images and you half to pay $30-$40 to get the mp3 card, stick, and disk. But that is about the only beef, otherwise it is a verry well made cost effecient media player :)IT HAS SKATEBOARDING(:

I bought one for my 8 year old and he absolutly loves it. I did not think that a 3 year old would care much but I was wrong. So I had to buy him one as well. They will not put them down. They are only allowed to watch 1 hour of TV on school days so I gave them a choice. Regular TV or Juice Box. They pick Juice Box! Who would of thought. Now My son wants the MP3 Kit. I guess I better buy two.

Our 6-yr. old son has had his Gameboy Advance for the past couple years to bring along on trips and keep himself entertained. We wanted to buy something for our daughter too, that would be her own, but she has never been into video games. We tried a Pixter, but she got bored of it fast. She is way too old for a Leapster too. We were about to buy her a personal DVD player, but luckily we found the Juicebox first. It was perfect!
Unlike the VideoNow and a DVD Player, the Juicebox is light and compact, and the media chips are so much easier to carry around than bulky CDs or DVDs. Also, the Juicebox never skips - like I have heard the VideoNow will do. People complain about the selection of media chips for the Juicebox, but with all of the cartoons and music-videos that are already available, any pre-teen should be able to find enough to keep them happy. And if my daughter does get tired of the media chips, we also added the MP3 player to it, and now she can listen to all of her favorite music without having to carry around a CD player or CDs. With headphones, the sound is nearly as good as an iPod, at a small fraction of the price! My daughter loves it so much, that my son got jealous. We had to pick up some movies for his Gameboy and an MP3 attachment. Still, the Juicebox comes out ahead. The movies on the Gameboy look a little better, but screen-size, sound-volume and sound-quality on the Juicebox wins out! The cost of the Juicebox and the Media chips are a whole lot less than Gameboy too! For pre-teen kids, the Juicebox is the perfect buy. Now all of my daughter's friends are begging their parents for one too!
