Ever since I started taking it, I feel better, I look better and very rarely get sick.

Honestly, I don't see how you can trust any supplement when a company can, if it has the money to promote its product, say anything, helped along by packaging.
Martin Siegel
I like that juice plus has no magnesium stearate or silicon dioxide and is good natural nutrition.

There is a lot of controversy surrounding this dietary supplement. The manufacturer claims that their product is the next best thing to eating fruits and vegetables, and that it picks its fruit and veggies at their peak ripeness, and then they use a proprietary process to reduce them to a powder containing much of the original vitamins and nutrients, while maintaining high bio-availability (which means that your body is able to use and take advantage of the nutrients instead of excreting most of it as waste).

Many scientific studies, however, claim to disprove, or have produced conflicting results to, many of the manufacturer's claims about the product (see the "Product Research" section on Juice Plus' Wikipedia page: [...]. It doesn't help that the main product distribution process is through the use of multi-level marketing (aka pyramid scheme), and that many reviewers/commenters giving it 5 stars are also re-sellers of this product who always seem to want to send you to their personal website for more information about the product. FYI: I, personally, have not, do not, and do not plan to sell Juice Plus+.

Before I knew any of this information, though, our Lamaze coach recommended it as a convenient way for my pregnant wife to make sure that the fetus (and my wife) would get as many vital nutrients as possible. Of course, nothing compares to eating fresh fruits and vegetables, but it's not always possible to eat as many as JuicePlus claims to contain.

I have personally used Juice Plus off and on over the past couple years, and I've found that, when I take it regularly for a couple weeks (morning and night, not all 4 capsules at once), most of the tension in my neck and shoulders disappears, which is amazing. So, what's the main catch?

First and foremost I would suggest taking Juice Plus to anyone as I've always benefited from its health benefits over the past 15 years.

My problem is with the seller Salk trading of KY. My reasoning is: Juice Plus always arrives in boxes with a 3 month supply in each box. Salk Trading advertised Juice Plus on Amazon for $49.99 would be a great deal for a 3 month supply as its usually $100. I purchased 2 orders for $99.98 thinking I would be getting a 6 month supply. Much to my dismay, a 2 month supply arrived for my $100 which is a 33% mark up on the regular price. Seems as if Salk Trading buys Juice Plus, repackages it in smaller quantities, advertises at 50% off on Amazon, and then sells at a 33% mark up. Do not buy Juice Plus from Salk, its a rip off and seems unethical.

I have taken Juice Plus for about 5 years now. Ever since I started taking it, I feel better, I look better and very rarely get sick. I had run out about 4 months ago and within those four months of not taking it, I got a cold twice. That's proof enough for me. I don't eat enough fresh fruit and vegetables (I wish I did) and Juice Plus is a great supplement. I have noticed though, that when I'm taking Juice Plus I actually crave the real thing more. That is another thing I like about it! AND...there are no strange ingredients!

My sister who is a homeopathic physician told me about Juice Plus 10 years ago and at the time I was on 15 different pills a day from a biochemist who is very well known in Miami. I think he is great but I was spending a small fortune and although I was a little better I wasn't at what I felt should be optimum health especially from all these vitamins I was taking. After 4 months on juice plus everything got better, my energy, my mental alertness and focus, I became more regular, better digestion, sleeping and waking up better. I had a lot of issues and this seriously made some drastic positive changes. It's funny, because people think this is a miracle drug or cure and it's not. It's simply like they said, the next best thing to fruits and vegetables. What don't people understand? The fruits or the vegetables? I actually found myself craving more fruits and vegetables and it's been 10 years since I started and haven't had any major colds or flu for that matter. Whey would I stop taking it? The only other thing I've taken is a Vitamin D, nothing else in 10 years and I've had perfect health, thank God. I just turned 47!

I also looked at all of the studies and saw all the universities all over the world who did these studies, seriously, they can't all be lying that juice plus is good. At this point, if there was something wrong with this product or if it was a scam one of these universities would have published it by now. The good thing is that juice plus does not even claim to heal or prevent disease. I've gone to some of their educational events around town and they've never pushed or sold the product, it was all about educating people on whole food nutrition and how food works for good and bad in your body.

I started taking Juice Plus a little over a year ago. I was taking the Fruit, Veggie and the Berry Blend. In addition to that, I was drinking 1 shake per day (vanilla) with other fruits and veggies. Unfortunately, I have been sick (including in the summer), have had several allergic reactions to something in the product and I feel like I have thrown money away. I believe that the warnings need to be more clear (start S.L.O.W., your digestive tract will thank you. This product is not completely allergy free (gluten)). I canceled my monthly delivery and will just try to eat wholesome, fresh, clean foods. I gave the product two stars, just because I think in theory this product is good and I know others who have thoroughly enjoyed it. It just wasn't for me.
