More About the Author

Cherie Calbom is passionate about health and healing because she healed her body from debilitating chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyaligia by designing a her own fresh veggie juice and whole foods diet plan. She was so amazed at how her health turned around that she went to graduate school and earned a Master of Science degree in whole foods nutrition from Bastyr University so that she could be a credible source of information. Before she had graduated from Bastyr, the owners of the Juiceman company hired her to write a little booklet for their juicer. One thing led to another and she became "The Juice Lady." Her first book, Juicing for Life, was an international best-seller. It's now available in her third edition as The Juice Lady's Guide to Juicing for Health. Then she learned about the amazing health benefits of virgin coconut oil. She wrote about it in The Coconut Diet. Cherie is a raw foods chef who makes green smoothies and fresh juice every day for herself and her husband. Even her dog Annie, the Schnauzer, benefits with homemade meals of veggies, meat, and brown rice. You can sign up for Cherie's free monthly newsletter at www.juiceladyinfo.com.

Was happy with the information that is in this book. What I wasn't happy with was some of the chapters tell you about this amazing product but don't tell you what it is. It tells you if you want to know what it is you have to go to their website. Then when you go to their website they want you to buy another book that will give you the answer.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of this new book and now that I’ve received my copy, I have to say it is a pure delight to read. I’ve read all of Cherie Calbom’s books on achieving breakthrough levels of health through juicing and eating wholesome foods. Her latest gem, “The Juice Lady’s REMEDIES for Stress & Adrenal Fatigue”, however, goes farther than the others in that she explains in jaw-dropping detail her own life story. It is beyond inspirational. I cried all through the Introduction and you will too. I won’t tell you what her secret is for success in the face of tragedy, but I will say that this book is “juicy” with spirit and spunk. The juicing and raw foods part, it soon becomes certain, is your indispensable foundation to support your body, mind and spirit. I also love that this book can be used as a handbook for quick reference and can travel easily in your hand bag.

The book consists of Cheri’s personal story, a detailed understanding of adrenal fatigue and its relationship to stressors, both those known and some surprises as well. For myself, for example, a complicated cataract surgery at the same time of learning about a loved family member’s tragic diagnosis set my adrenal crash in motion quite unexpectedly. So, whether you are a reactive stress eater or simply undone by life’s events even while eating healthily, this book can steer you back into balance.

The next portions of the book consist of Cherie’s recipes, preparation advice, proper equipment and more. I would add that Cherie Calbom is a born writer, especially for the stressed and worried reader . Her book is clear, concise, understanding and positive.

I believe we all have stress in our lives, some more than others. However, I don't think that most of us know the damage that it is doing to us both physically and mentally. As I began reading this book I was truly touched by what our author went through in her life, and she opens her past trials to us. Life can be hard, but there are solutions to helping us live a better one, this book helps you to know some of them.

In the beginning Ms. Calbom shares with us her battle to overcome stress in her life. She explains how changing her eating habits made all the difference to her, and why it really does help. She shared by simply adding fresh fruits, and vegetables to your diet you will be able to tell a difference. Surprised? So was I. This book is very detailed with instructions on what foods to buy, what to look for when you are purchasing them, and how to prepare them. She goes further into other aspects as well that you will find very helpful.

I could definitely feel by her writing that he has an honest desire to help others achieve what she herself has found. This little book is packed full of useful information that will be a gold mine to anyone who wants to better their life. Well written, informative, and recommended.

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

This was a very interesting read. It gave you a ton of tips and recipes for juicing and healthy eating. It also taught you which foods you should buy organic, what kinds of food or ingredients you should avoid, what different foods do for your body and it also talks about adrenal fatigue, symptoms and how you can go about fixing it. The author's story in the beginning was touching, emotional, and inspiring.

I can't even list all the information in this book but I learned a lot from it. This is a book that everyone should check out to start living a happier and healthier life with more energy. Now I just need to get a juicer so I can try out some of the recipes.
