Customer Reviews

It is a great all around adapter when you only have one USB port.

If they moved the "dongle" (the part that sticks into your USB port) to the middle (or the other side in the case for the Surface Pro 2).

SD Card slot is very useful for photo editing since I don't need to disconnect my mouse from the tablet to transfer files.

Just received my Microsoft Surface 5 in 1 Adapter in the Czech Republic. Excellent product and quick service too.

Nice to see companies like this going the extra mile to produce quality products specifically designed to fit the Surface.

The adaptor is nice and light and fits perfectly with the angled edge of my Surface RT.

Only drawback is that can't be used at same time as hdmi out, but that's only a minor point and should not detract from the quality of the product itself. Maybe mkII will have USB & HDMI 😊.

There are reviews that indicate the 5-in-1 adapter interferes with the Surface RT microHDMI port. This is true if you are using Microsoft OEM microHDMI cable adapter products. The MS products are first class in construction, but the dimensions of the microHDMI side of their adapters are larger than non-OEM adapters. I returned my $40 MS microHDMI-to-VGA adapter and purchased one from BraineyDeal for about $9. The microHDMI side fits perfectly (no clearance, but it works) with the Juiced Systems 5-in-1 adapter in place. I also purchased a Cable Matters microHDMI-to-HDMI cable adapter and that one clears the 5-in-1 adapter too. So, if you want the microHDMI port clear for use with the 5-in-1 adapter, you'll need to buy non-OEM.

This is a great idea, and I love the features, but it doesn't fit when I use the micro HDMI output on my Surface RT. This unit is 1/8" too tall to allow for this. I am really bummed about this oversight.

This has 2 USB ports, micro SD reader, SD reader, and a micro USB port, not sure what to use it for since all my phone chargers use a standard size USB for the input. I don't believe I have ever seen a cord with Micro USB on both ends.

Pros: It has lots of needed ports in a compact design that fits the curve of the Surface models...
Cons: Design of where "dongle" is limits models that it really works with. USB 2.0 not 3.0

I opened it up all excited, I had read the reviews about it blocking the display port on some models and knew that would not be an issue with the Surface Pro 2, since the USB and display ports on on opposite sides... Not realizing that my volume "rocker" button was too close to the USB port to work with this.

I ended up having to return mine, but the concept is really needed. If they moved the "dongle" (the part that sticks into your USB port) to the middle (or the other side in the case for the Surface Pro 2). It's not entirely Juiced Systems' fault, Microsoft was not consistent between models on where the USB port is in relation to other buttons and ports.

So either Juiced needs to make a model for each Surface model (which would be expensive) or come up with a better "general" design, that fits all the Surface models.

3 stars for the concept and the fact it worked, but ultimately it's no good if you can't use your other ports and/or buttons.

The Juiced is a nice addition to the Surface if you want a way to easily access data from SD cards. It also adds an additional USB port. Construction seems OK for the price (Read plastic.). My only concern is how it attaches to the Surface - via the USB port only. It is somewhat wobbly. Personally I would detach the Juiced when transporting the Surface for fear of breaking off it off.

It fits perfectly on my Microsoft Surface Pro, my only gripe is that it isn't USB 3.0. I love how it looks like it's actually part of the Surface too.

Very nice little gadget to have to supplement another USB and SDHC / mini card memory reader. For the price - I think its a fair one - wish it was a bit cheaper but I get very good use of this handy-dandy do-hickey.

The adapter would not work in my Surface Pro . I tried everything possible to get it to function and it would not. I returned it requesting a replacement, but was issued a credit, no replacement. I assumed there must be a problem if they wouldn't send a replacement. Have not reordered. Definitely a desirable product if it works.
