As soon as I got this book I went right to the Boost Your Energy recipe. I’ve read a bunch of juicing books and I love juice so I can tell pretty quickly if an author knows what they are talking about. I’m happy to report that Julia Cussler does. Juicing For Health is a complete approach to juicing that anyone starting out should read and the recipes, including the Energy Booster, are wonderful. But my favorite is the Green Wizard! Highly recommended 5-stars!

Loved this book, because rather than just give you a load of lists of fruit and veg (lets face it, putting stuff in a juicer ain't rocket science) the author gives a thorough and clear summary of the health aspects right at the beginning, and echoes the health and nutrition information throughout the book. It's really important to understand the relationship between fructose and fiber, or you'll just end up fatter than before, and Julia Cussler gives a thoroughly helpful explanation that everyone should know. It's beginning to look like sugar may be a bigger killer than fat, in the long run, so this is critical advice. Great book, highly recommended.

This is a good book - full of great juicing tips and interesting recipes. Juicing is not easy. It takes a lot of time, so you need to get some inspiration. This book serves the purpose. I haven't tried most of the recipes in the book before and I have juiced quite a bit. I think you are going to love what Julia is offering in here and going green for our bodies is really important. I won't lie and say every juice tastes like heaven the first time as it takes some adjustment when you are used to everything being full of sugar. Your body will thank you in ways you cannot imagine. I would recommend this book.

This book was recommended to me by a friend. I have always been health conscious but I had never gotten into juicing and really didn't know the first thing about it. Well after reading this book, I feel like running right out to get a juicer (I already have the blender.) - And lots of fresh produce of course. Julia Cussler shares her expert knowledge on the topic of juicing. She explains the science and gives all of the reasons why you really should add this to your daily regimen. The book is a quick read but it is packed with a tremendous amount of vital information. A wide selection of juicing recipes are presented along with their specific health benefits, such as weight-loss, added energy, or digestive flow. I am convinced that juicing has got to be the best and most natural way of getting your vitamins, minerals and fiber.

Julia Cussler's Juicing for Health was a lucky find. Looking for an easy to follow diet I stumbled onto Julia's Juicing book and I highly recommend it to anyone who like me lacks the discipline to engage in a full fledged diet. I'm now juicing twice a day, have twice the energy without the hollow, starving to death feeling I associate with dieting.
