My wife (Laurie) bought me this watch to replace an old broken pocket watch that I've carried for years.
The Quartz movement is a nice improvement over my old mechanical. No forgetting to wind it.
I have to say that I was impressed at the overall feel of this watch . Very solid and heftier
than my old one. The cover opens with a very strong spring action and closes easily. The movement has been "dead
on" since I set it and overall I am quite pleased. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of
the small date window. Its hard for my old eye's to see without my glasses. I belive it could have been designed
a bit bigger. Overall it is a great timepiece for the price tag. You can purchase a cheaper pocket watch but you
will sacrafice the quality that this watch certainly has.
