Exellent Buy, November 12, 2008
This review is from: Jules Jurgensen Men's 7801NB Two-Tone Sport Watch (Watch)
I bought this watch a few weeks ago after searching for a replacement for my old Jules Jergensen. I bought my original diver's watch in 1983 and never had a bit of problem with it until I finally wore the crown down from constant use and got salt water in it. I replaced the watch with a Wenger Swiss Army divers watch but found out the hard way that they don't have a screw down crown. It filled with water the first time I went diving, so back to the store it went. My old watch was still working (after it dried out) which was my first clue as to it's lasting power. I knew that I couldn't wear it surfing or diving and wanted to replace it with a quality brand, and after researching Seiko dive watches and the citizen eco-drives, I decided to check out the new Jules Jurgensen line. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this model as I'd been used to the Stainless steel and it was a toss up weither to get the two tone or stick with the plain stainless model. Liking the classic looks and knowing the quality of my original I took a chance and went with the two tone.
To make a long story short, I just got back from the Florida Keys where I dove the reefs and hit the bars. While down there, I ran into a friend who saw my watch and wanted to know if I'd finally gotten a Rolex.
(He has 2.) I showed him the watch and he was very impressed with the quality and the workmanship. It has a solid feel and the classic looks of a watch that costs thousands more, so if you are looking for quality and exellent value for your money, I highly recommend this item or any other watch from this company.
I'm actually thinking of purchasing another one (the stainless model) as a back up when I'm out working in the yard or as a casual change of pace.
Do yourself a favor and check them out. You won't be disapointed.

Outstanding Value, May 13, 2007
I purchased this particular watch because I already have an exact duplicate that I bought in 1998. I am very rough on a watch and the first one still serves well, but has gotten rough looking from use. I wanted a fresh looking watch, so I stuck with what I already had, and am pleased that I did because the band closing mechanism has been improved. The batteries last a long time -- my 1998 watch is on only its 3rd battery. This watch also has such a close resemblance to a Rolex Submariner that I have had people mistake it for that very expensive watch. I recommend this watch to anyone who wants a rugged, handsome watch at a very good price.

Mens watch, January 18, 2007
I bought this watch for my husband as a Christmas gift. He had previously owned a Jules Jurgensen watch and was very pleased. I had looked around our local shops and could not find it. I was very pleased to see that you had this manufacture. My husband is very pleased with the quality of the watch and I would not hesitate to purchase from Jules Jurgensen again.
