I bought this with high hopes that it would be good because it starred Julianna Rose Mauriello but I was greatly disappointed. The description leads you to believe that it is an awesome movie, don't buy into it.
First of all, I would like to point out that the entire movie is less than 30 minutes long. Yes, you read that correctly. Second, in the description on the back of the movie case, it says this, "When is enough ... enough? Ever since they can remember, Pyper, Catie, and Lemzel have been ostracized from the rest of their peers. Pyper, especially, has been constantly bullied by Natalie since they were five years old. After years of watching this abuse, Pyper's friends Catie and Lemzel have finally decided that the continuous hazing has to stop... but at what price? Natalie tells them that if they will do one simple thing, the bullying will stop. Play the game 'a Fix' and everything will go away. The game ends with a natural high, or death. When Pyper finds out, she snaps. This mild, meek teenager transforms into a determined young woman. She wants revenge. Ok now by reading that, you get drawn in. However, in the movie, they do not show or even hint that Pyper has been teased and bullied "for years". In the movie, the bully only bullies Pyper twice (and not even that bad). "When Pyper finds out, she snaps"....She does do that (as best as a "good girl" can I suppose. "This Mild, meek teenager transforms into a determined young woman, She wants revenge"....Seriously? It actually makes me want to laugh. Pyper doesn't do anything to get revenge on the bully. She pulls a gun on her, drops it, then runs away. Then she sends a note to her best friend saying that she ran that night and couldn't stop running. They flash a scene where Pyper is drawing a family (because she loves to draw), and the movie ends. The only good thing I can say about this is that the first scene in the girls locker room was the best because the bullying started in that scene and you could see how vulnerable Pyper is. I thought with it starting out with a scene like that, that it would only get better. It fell short of that. I wouldn't have bought it had I known some specifics of it first. Hope this helps. Before buying it, try looking for a free copy of it or at least a discounted copy. I wish I could get my 15.00 plus shipping back.

I am a fan of Julianna Rose Mauriello. Now this movie short wont give a good "fix" of her but like the title says, it's OK. The previous review stated it could be longer, I wholeheartedly agree. It could have been and should have been longer. More of the back-story and more character development could have made this a nice feature length indie film. Obviously this is not the Julianna Rose Mauriello we all know from Lazy Town but it does show her range of acting. I hope she doesn't stop with this film. She has all the potential in the world to be one of the best and this production only gives us a peek at that. I wish her nothing but success in any of her future endeavors.
