About the Author

Margaret Chrislock Gilseth was born and raised in rural Wanamingo, Minnesota, and attended a one-room rural school. She graduated from Augsburg College and earned a M.A degree in Christian education at Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. For 25 years she taught English in high schools in Minnesota, South Dakota and Washington. She spent 4 years teaching in Tanzania Africa. currently living in St. Charles, Minnesota, Margaret is married and has one son.
