You may know "Wash Away (Reprise)" from the excellent television show Lost. This song was used in the third episode of the first season and became something of a Lost theme song for many fans. The rest of the album (while very short) is outstanding. Wash Away is definetly the highlight, but if you enjoy that tune than the rest of the album will surely not dissapoint. Give it a try if you love Lost and if love simple, beautiful, relaxing mood music.

I first heard Joe Purdy from Grey's Anatomy and Lost and looked him up on the internet. I bought one of his albums and then bought Julie Blue and I love them both. Both albums are fantastic and are in heavy rotation in my CD player.

I never heard of Joe Purdy before researching who did the Dawn dish washing liquid song. I am so glad I found him! I am totally in love with his music! This cd is fantastic beginning to end! I kick back in the porch swing with my grandbabies and listen while they fall asleep. I think they love it too. We'll all have to move inside now that it is getting cold, but Joe Purdy is coming with us! I hate what I had to pay for the cd, but if it's no longer being produced, I feel lucky to have gotten it. My girls who are 40 and 28 and wild about Jack Johnson are also into the Julie Blue cd as well as joe's other cd's I purchased. There is a slight resemblence. but Joe's voice is more earthy. I am hooked for life. I don't think you can go wrong with this one, if you can still find it.

This CD is absolutely beautiful. The acoustic guitar is warm and inviting and reminiscent of a casual get together with friends. Purdy's woody, resonating voice is the perfect compliment. It really makes me want to drive through the country with the windows down, basking in the sun. That's the best kind of music there is.

A good quality album by Joe, some great songs like Wash Away, Abbie`s song, i love the rain the most. I think that wash away is up in my list of greatest songs ever written and im shocked by the lack of reviews for this album because it is a superb album for its genre. It chills me out just thinking about this album.

This music is so chill and relaxed. It's seriously like floating on a river. Great CD in good condition for a wonderful deal.

when I first got into Joe Purdys music this was the cd everyone told me was a "must have" it is a good cd but definately not my favorite of his I would suggest you pick up "stomping grounds" or one of Joe's other CDs before messing with this one.

Joe hits that spot when you need to just chill and listen to some music that helps you do just that.

"Wash Away" was featured on my favorite show, "LOST" and since then I've looked Joe up and bought all 3 of his CDS (all are available on CDBaby.com brand new if you don't want to buy a used copy.
