This review is from: Memoir of an art gallery (Hardcover)
Fun to read Levy's take on what was going on around him and because of him in New York. A few fun photos as well. Highly recommended if you want to be "inside" that period of time, tho Levy's writing style is sometimes a bit self-important giving me the impression that he wants to be considered an artist in his own right. That said, he played a big part in bringing surrealism to America and as such his perspective is valuable. Enjoy.

This review is from: Julien Levy: Memoir Of An Art Gallery (Artworks) (Paperback)
Must read for artists who are serious about their career, marketing and gaining knowledge of the history of art dealers and galleries. This book is a lead in to other written material available.
