Also, some parts seemed a little fanciful.

There are no actual birth scenes, but instead this movie focuses on the social implications of their decisions.

Resolution was not as satisfying as I expected. The main character was simply tossed away at the end of the story. After developing her as a very strong character despite some obvious traits of juvenile imaturity, the writer and/or the director robbed her of a much needed sense of redemption consistent with her strength. Nevertheless, overall beautiful and thought provoking film.

Very Slow, but interesting. There are no actual birth scenes, but instead this movie focuses on the social implications of their decisions.

English subtitled French film. Kept my interest. At first it seemed like a sick concept, but the "Plot" didn't go as I had anticipated.

Basically a story about a group of girls that are really close, and have an idea of bringing up their babies up together better than there parents did.

This a teen movie with a strange ending. I am glad it was free to watch with Prime. I would not buy it. The interesting bit of it was seeing the workings of the French school system.

A realistic and sobering tale of youths in modern society. An interesting look into the aspirations, challenges, and futility they face these days.

I found the concept intriguing; teenage girls demanding control over their bodies and trying to make a place for themselves in the world. The movie does move slowly, which did not bother me but some people might not enjoy the pace. Also, some parts seemed a little fanciful. The girls continue to drink, smoke, sneak out to parties and laze around seemingly unprepared for the next step. They maintain a truly optimistic view of how their lives will unfold once the babies are born. While some may argue that movie does not address the realities or side effects of pregnancy, I think it does a great job at exploring the female teenage psychic. The move pulls back to your teenage self; feeling invisible and wanting to prove you know more than everyone else around you- in a wonderfulyl naive way.
