5.0 out of 5 stars Gorilla stories!, December 13, 2002
This review is from: Julius (An I Can Read Book) (Library Binding)
Like the other review on this page from Utah, this book was my all time favorite as a kid. Julius the gorilla! As a kid I appreciated the neat pictures. Their colors and the tone I'd feel from them, plus the dialog between Julius and Davy, was always a happy time whenever I spent time with the book. And really, isn't happy just what time with a book should be? The unusual name Julius also drew me into its pages.

Great buy. A wonderful book for little kids with big imaginations. Had a good experience with the seller and the book is still as fun as I remember it to be.

5.0 out of 5 stars classic, June 11, 2004
By
This review is from: Julius (An I Can Read Book) (Library Binding)
this book is so classic, i have to say these older books are so much better than all the PC (politically correct) books being written for kids today. it is simple, sensitive, refreshing and funny. (for example when julius tries to get rid of the fly on his nose by waving his hand the fly says 'thanks for making me cool, its hot in here') all kids will delight in practicing their reading with this book.
