Wonderful wonderful book! Major cliffhanger! Exciting from beginning to end! Cannot wait for book 2! I thought this was just one book so I was so upset it didn't end! Being upset is a great sign that you as a reader do not think you can sleep until you know what happens lol !

5.0 out of 5 stars Great start to a promising series! August 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I read this book in one sitting - it's the kind of story that keeps you turning the pages, because you really want to know what's going to happen next.

The characters are believable, the storyline is enjoyable and the romance is steamy!

Without giving anything away, there's a hint in the book that the sequel may delve into a whole other area, but I won't say any more than that! Suffice to say that I'll look forward to reading it :-)

In all, this was a great story, and I'd recommend it if you like your romance revved up a few notches.

Good one!

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay November 11, 2013

Nothing special, but a nice, quick story. It is your typical romance and was predictable. It wasn't horrible, but it was a good time killer.

4.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY! a Mini Book Series that doesn't Piss me off!!! October 14, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This new trend in book where the author releases a series of mini book (under 150p each) every few weeks was really starting to piss me off for several reasons. The most important of these reasons being that the story line is horrendous. Usually there is little to no editing, the flow is choppy, and each "episode" in the series is way over priced.

This one is different. Yes the editing in this one is still not professional, but I've seen MUCH worse. By no means is the story line a 5 star mega blockbuster, but for what it is, I liked it. It's a sweet summer romance that might someday go somewhere. It has promise. And it has enough character depth and development that I'm curious about book #2 (which I bought).

Will I go running to my sister at the end of this series screaming "You HAVE to read this!" ~ No

Am I glad I bought/read it? ~ Yes

Will I buy the rest? ~ Yes

5.0 out of 5 stars Fireworks to Remember July 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
'A 4th of July to Remember' is about some serious fireworks, both literally and between the two main characters. It is a fast paced story that has plenty of action as well as some steamy romance.

The story itself is engaging and the romance between the characters serves to move the story along as well as to enhance the overall story line.

As to length, it is a reasonably short read, but one you are not likely to forget in a hurry.

I thought the ending could have been a little stronger however it leaves the way clear for further installments of the romance between Maddie and Ronnie.

All up, I enjoyed 'A 4th of July to Remember' and I like the way the author brought the characters to life in a real and believable way.

This is a story can can be enjoyed at any time, not just the 4th of July and I look forward to the continuing adventures of Maddie and Ronnie.

After spending years being haunted by an attempted rape, our main character decides to get tipsy and hang out her assailant. I mean, what could go wrong, right? And he's cute now, so . . . you know.

There's a lot going on in this book, as if the author decided to throw everything to see if it would stick. The main character acted more like a fourteen-year-old than a college student.
