I bought this for my daughter's 2nd birthday party, and she was absolutely floored in excitement. She and her friends kept hugging him and squealing in joy. This was worth every penny that I had second guessed up until that moment. The $20 helium tank you can get at WalMart or a Dollar Store was more than enough to fill up this great Big Bird. And it has lasted the past week and a half so far. My daughter has tackled him, played ring around the rosies, and walked all over the house holding his hand and talking to him. I cannot say how much I love that we made this whim purchase.

Great balloon, my son loved it. It worked great as part of our party decoration and 3 weeks later... still air walking with my son around the house.

The instructions were somewhat lacking, but once you get the balloon up it's really impressive. Even adults think it's cool and adds so much to the decor. The only negative is that for the balloon to stand you have to fill it up with helium and it takes quite a bit of helium. It's a good thing we rented a large tank. Also, you're not to fill the legs with any type of air. They stay flat. Given the amount of helium, you'll also need to attach your own weights. The weights provided are certainly not enough to keep it grounded. Once filled, the balloon will stay afloat for quite a long time. It's going on just about a week for us now and still doesn't seem to be losing air.

Balloon is great, is one of those walker balloons with card board weights in the feet so it sits on the floor rather than floats to ceiling

I ordered this for my niece's 3rd birthday. She loves it! She hugs it and takes Big Bird around the house. I was afraid the giant balloon would freak her out, but it was a hit!
