Two things: 1) this bag can only be used if the rod in your closet has a diameter less than 1.5 inches, preferably much less than that (this is not indicated anywhere in the product info, so I could not use it until I made my own rod); 2) the bag has no internal frame (as the product description correctly indicates), so be aware that the picture is somehow misleading: when you hung the bag it does not hold well, and it is difficult to put clothes inside, particularly because the material is hard and heavy. It is of course honest to indicate "frameless" in the product info, but I don't think this should be heralded as a good thing, quite the opposite.

This bag is far superior to the framed bags which collapse eventually. It has loads of room but you can also make it more compact. The plastic material is very sturdy as are the zippers and you can see clearly what you have stored. I would definitely buy another.

Definitely protects our clothes, not flimsy. I use mine on a Z-Rack and they attach nicely and easily. Will buy more!

This product is perfect for dresses you don't use often. For me this means it's in the extra bedroom closet. The frameless part is a bit odd but I know it won't break, and the plastic is extra heavy duty.

I was very surprised at what a really great product this was for the price, it fit my needs perfectly. it has heavy duty zipper and plenty of room for several large garments.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good deal on a sturdy garment bag for storage

I bought this product back in April 2010 and I am very happy with this purchase.

Initially I was looking for some type of cloth covers that I can use to cover my coats and dresses, so I went to local WalMart and Target and I found the covers they carry were not transparent (I like to see my "options"). I ended up finding this Jumbo Frameless Dress Bag on Amazon, which is so much better than those individual dress/suit cover, and it's transparent, too!! I store all my clean dresses, work clothes, suits, and coats that can not be folded in this dress bag, and whenever I need a dress that's in this dress bag, I just open the bag and grab it, it's that simple and easy!!

The reason why I deducted a star is because I had to cut open and remove 2 plastic plates that were suppose to go around the rod in my closet (apparently the diameter of the rod in my closet is greater than 1.5 inches), but it was not too big of the deal since the dress bag still goes on my closet rod after removing the plates.

In any case, if you are looking for a transparent dress storage bag, this is the one. Oh, I also would like to add that I would throw couple mothballs in the bag just to prevent moth from damaging my clothing. As for the stinky plastic smell from the bag that some of you might worry about, it will actually disappear over time.

I bought this item after discovering cloth moths in my home. Now, my clothes are safe and protected from dust & moths. No more allergies!

check the measurements, it's really really LONG. Unless if you have a big puffy long ballroom dancing gown, consider the Jumbo Frameless Suit Bag instead. (it's cheaper too)
someone in the other review said the bag frame opening for the rod might not fit your clothing rod. Mine fits just fine, but yes, it's NOT adjustable. But I don't think it's a big deal b/c there's gap on the opening which allows for a lot of extra room for the rod.

I will not get another one b/c it's really too LONG. I will get a couple more of the Suit Bag instead.

Instead of expecting the user to thread the rod though the bag and have to remove the rod in order to take the bag off, it should have been designed so that it can be mounted on the rod instead.

I bought at least 10 of these for my recent move. They are strong and thick, but are a little too big. I would recommend the non-jumbo size instead.

I needed a way to keep clothes hanging in the basement covered/protected, and this works great. easy to install on the pole, easy to get into when I need to pull something out.

I purchased several of these in the dress size and the suit size and then purchased commercial grade garment racks to use them on. Fabulous!! The garment bags are clear and easy to see the contents. They are quite easy to install and seem to be very sturdy. I went with this arrangement after years of cheap plastic garment racks that always break. Sure is cheaper than building custom closets for extra storage.
