Jumbo Puzzle Book
I bought this book for a gifted 6yr old for Christmas. She loves the books so much that she spend hours working on it.The day it was given to her she worked on all day.She said it was one of her best Christmas Gifts.I would recommend not giving to you average 6yr old because most of it would be above there level.I would give to the average 3rd grader.

Suitable only for kids at least 7 years old
The recommended age range listed on Amazon for this book is 4 - 8 years. I'm looking through the book now, and there is some pretty advanced stuff here, including binary number conversion. There are complex words and ideas throughout this book. Even with adult cooperation, the average 4 to 7 year old would get pretty frustrated in short order. If your child is a MENSA...

If your child is a MENSA candidate, he'll likely have an easier time with it. I'm impressed with the contents, but I think they should be intended for older children. I'd guess that only about a fifth of the content is suitable for 5 year olds.
