This remote is way too big for most people. I had to place it in my lap and punch it like a computer. Unfortunately, I did not get to use the remote...I never could find the proper code to operate my television. I could turn the tv off and on, but never could get the channels to change...finally gave up and went out and purchased a small $7 dollar remote that worked perfectly.

These Jumbo remotes fit a niche. They are easy to see - no need to put on reading glasses! And they are hard to lose because of their size. But, that does make it hard or very hard to operate them with just one hand. Being a multi-unit remote clears the remote clutter from my TV coffee table - the remote works well at controlling the TV, the VCR (yes!) and DVD (I don't use tha Cable button or Satellite Box button.). But I often forget, initially, to push the new item button at first. (TV, not DVD, stupid!) And some less common function may infrequently require the real item's remote, so don't throw them away - store them near the item. I find the Jumbo remote VERY useful. I have two, one where I sit and watch and one across the room by this computer. And my aunt in her eighties loves the Jumbo that I gave to her!
