5.0 out of 5 stars Love this but it broke~!
We originally bought this for our two year old's birthday but it's the four year old who really loves it. During the winter when we were cooped up inside and watched way too much tv -the four year old could often be found bouncing up and down on the trampoline while watching a tv show. He jumps on it almost every day and I figure that's a pretty good way for him to burn...

This is a terrible product. My daughter who is 30 pounds loved this toy, but after two months, the band broke and she fell and hurt herself. We thought maybe it was just a bad part. The company send us another band, and sure enough it broke again after 3 months. This time my daugter hurt her foot. This toy is very dangerous. Please be careful if you buy this...

We originally bought this for our two year old's birthday but it's the four year old who really loves it. During the winter when we were cooped up inside and watched way too much tv -the four year old could often be found bouncing up and down on the trampoline while watching a tv show. He jumps on it almost every day and I figure that's a pretty good way for him to burn off all that extra energy when we can't get outside to play! It was a little tricky to assemble but my husband and I did it in an evening and it seems pretty durable and hardy (aka my two boys haven't destroyed it and months later it still looks like new in spite of a lot of use!)
FAST FORWARD FOUR MONTHS -the red bungee cable that holds the green middle cloth and provides the bounce - snapped while my four year old son was bouncing on it - it appears that the cable was worn away by the grommets it was threaded through. The company has agreed to replace the cable -but offered no apology and no plans to fix the problem and now I get the fun job of trying to relace the darn thing. Bottom Line - this is a fun toy but for the price it should last more than four months - buy something else.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful but broke after 3 months!, April 15, 2007

My kids and their friends all adore this trampoline. It is great indoors for rainy days or evenings too. Santa brought it for Christmas this year and Mom and Dad put it together. It was a chalenging job but we did it together in about 45 min. I wouldn't want to do it myself because it is difficult to attach the elastic cord. Like the other reviews, you do have to make minor adjustment here and there but it's no biggie.

Our complaint is that the whole thing just broke! A friend was jumping on it who weighs 70lbs. and the elastic cord pulled apart and broke in the middle of her jump.

We are looking for the contact info for the company and hoping that they will replace the cord and maybe the mesh that the kids jump on. The riveted holes may be too sharp and caused the elastic cord to break?

I gave this product a 4 becasue over-all it is great and the kids love it.
I hope the Co. will replace the parts!
A Mom of a 3yr & 5 yr old.

both of my girls love this (age 2 and 4). i am getting tired of the music but they love it! they spend lots of time jumping on this - only a few mishaps when they jump too out of control. the handle is great for balance. when this arrived and i put it together it was larger than i expected. i was able to put it together by myself. great product for kids.

Our 2 and 1/2 year old loves this product! My only gripes so far is that the jump sensor (for the interactive games)requires constant readjustment, it takes up a lot of space (not foldable), and the assembly instructions are horrible (took two people an hour to assemble). The product itself is sturdy and was the most-used x-mas gift my son received this year.

Instructions for assembly could be improved- took two (handy) guys an hour to put together. The kids love it however.

2.0 out of 5 stars Save your money and get a less fancy trampoline, February 11, 2010

My son, who LOVES to jump (like, was pretty much jumping out of the womb), received this for his 2nd birthday. At first, all was well, but after a few months of use I am mostly disappointed.

First, the assembly was a huge ordeal. It took nearly 3 adults to put it together, and then unfortunately we realized that it would not fit through the doorway of his room, so we had to unassemble and then reassemble in the room. So, for starters, put it together in the room where it will live because you are not moving it! It's huge and cumbersome - not a whole lot of flexibility. Although I suppose it's a good thing to be heavier, to keep it from flipping forward during use.

Second, and this is my big beef - the electronic component of the trampoline is useless. The sounds (it has several modes - music, silly sounds, counting, etc) are triggered by the child jumping on a sensor under the trampoline. You adjust the sensor location (height) by a cord, which is not terribly difficult to do but you have to CONSTANTLY move the sensor to get the electronics to work. My son is only 30 lbs, but every time he jumps the sensor slides ever so slightly, until eventually (like 20 jumps) it has slid too far down to be triggered. Then you have to take the child off, lay on the floor to unhook the cord and move the sensor, hook it back up...SUCH AN ANNOYANCE. The cord needs a toggle or something on it that you can position to prevent the sensor from sliding. Anyways, my son just jumps on it without the electronics now - and we could have bought any other trampoline for much less money that does that.

Third, it has a nylon cover that slips over the frame, presumably to keep the child's foot from slipping through the bungee cords that secure the trampoline to the frame. However, the cover isn't tight enough and it slides all over the place, exposing those holes, and really serves no purpose in preventing an injury.

For jumping only, this serves the purpose and I've never been concerned about it flipping. He still has a great time jumping on it, but I wish we had just purchased a cheaper one, without all the bells and whistles that don't work anyway.

2.0 out of 5 stars Mixed Reviews/found replacement parts, March 11, 2009

I have mixed reviews about this trampoline. We bought this for our 3 and 5 year old kids for Christmas. They both love the trampoline and fight over who gets to jump first. But only having it for barely 3 months, the bungee cord broke. I tried contacting the company from the information they gave on their instruction manual. What a joke!! The website is no longer available and their phone number has been disconnected. From looking at the other reviews, other people seem to have had similar problems. I finally googled 'replacement parts' for this trampoline and found an excellent website: http://www.1800trampoline.com/jumpsmarttrampolinereplacementparts.aspx
Even though you have to pay $15.00 for the replacement bungee cord, it's a heck of a lot better then chucking the trampoline or having it sit unused collecting dust.
I give this trampoline high marks for being fun. My kids love this trampoline when it's working and will jump on it for hours. Which is great this time of year when we are all cooped up inside. But I gave it very poor marks on durability since it broke such a short time after buying it. Plus the mfr obviously doesn't stand behind their product since you can't get ahold of them. I hope this info helps to others who I'm sure will have similar problems.

I bought this item back in 2005 for Christmas and have never taken the time to write a review. This was purchased for a two year old. All of the kids, even the bigger ones, loved this. Tough to put together. It was much larger than I expected it to be so it got moved outside early in 2006. At first we kept it covered, however not covered for quite some time now. August 2007 and it still keeps playing music and doesn't seem much worse for the wear of outdoors. Absolutely worth the price.

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter after reading the other reviews. Intially I was put off by the decorations & music, but my daughter and her friends love them. They give the toy great staying power. She still uses it, esp. on rainy days. It's tricky to assemble, but worth it.
