5.0 out of 5 stars Jump in...
I'll put it simply. This is the one disc I would let anyone with (younger) teenagers listen to without the fear of hearing any of the following:

1. Drugs
2. Foul Language
3. Sex

Bouncy tunes, a decent message and good clean fun (IMHO)! For once, give the people at Disney their just due. This is a great (family-oriented) disc that...

The kids (4 and 9) really wanted this based on a couple of tracks they'd heard, but as it turned out they only liked those two tracks. Better to download just the songs you like.

I got to tell you the truth. Im a mother in her 30's. And my daughter wanted this. I bought it for her and LOVE it. Wonderful songs, nice lyrics and up-beat music. Im no music critic. But if your a parent, I approve of this c.d. So many things from Disney I don't approve of. I loved the movie too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for listening, especially for dancing or aerobics, full of exuberance, January 23, 2007
This review is from: Jump in (Audio CD)
The success of the Disney Channel stars, programs and tie-in products (especially the music) is nothing short of phenomenal. The latest is Jump In!, a drama with songs (rather than a sing-out-loud musical) in which a young athlete would rather compete in extreme jump championships than fulfill his father's boxing ring dreams.

The big draw of Jump In! is the promising young Corbin Bleu, who like his High School Musical cast mates, is following a carefully plotted career course in the hopes of rising through the ranks of all-around stardom.

The album literally opens with the sound of a jump rope that starts at an average pace but quickly accelerating to create the rhythm track of N.L.T.'s "It's On."

Bleu's breakout track, "Push It to the Limit," is perfectly in keeping with what constitutes a power hit with Radio Disney listeners. (It's also tailor-made for an aerobic workout or 5k run.

Bleu's costar, Keke Palmer (who comes highly recommended from the fine film, Akeelah and the Bee) offers both "It's My Turn Now" and Jumpin'. The remainder is comprised of hip-hop, rap and pop songs including one from High School Musical vocalist Drew Seeley, who contributes "I'm Ready."

Primarily expressing either "I'm gonna make it to the top" or "get on the dance floor and move," the melodies and rhythms are consistently upbeat, except for Sebastian Mega's ballad of preteen angst, "Where Do I Go From Here?" and Kyle's exceptional "Let It Go," a self-help lesson in overcoming life's trials.

As of this writing, Jump In! became the most-watched Disney Channel movie in history, surpassing even High School Musical.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday but being a Disney production it has appeal for this old guy too. It's nice to know that there's good yet current music out there for her to listen to.

This cd is really good. All of the songs are really good. My favorite song in "Push it to the limit" by Corbin Bleu. You need to get this cd and see the movie on Disney January 12, at 8 p.m.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jumping In the Teenage Music Universe!, April 13, 2007
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Jump in (Audio CD)
I love the movie "Jump In!" because it teaches us the value of either being on the ring or do some serious double-dutching. Corbin Bleu & Keke Palmer have got it going on. Here are some of the tracks that I think of in this soundtrack.

1. It's On: NLT 7/15- I like the song in the beginng on the film, because to me, it's really catchy.

2. It's My Turn Now: Keke Palmer 15/15- AWESOME SONG! She went from "Akeelah & The Bee" to double-dutching queen. If you like Keke Palmer, you should love this song.

3. Push It To The Limit: Corbin Bleu- 15/15- Amazing song! Corbin came from "High School Musical" singer in the backgrounds to singing abilities. This song will push every teenager's song into the limit. Love it, even if it's on Radio Disney.

4.Vertical: T-Squad- 15/15- Great Song. Love the performance. Take Kid Karizz, Miki, Boo Boo & Jade and you've got the T-Squad! Hopefully, this song will go vertical on all the other song. They put the "Yo" in the "Yo Factor" for future singing careers.

5.Where Do I Go From Here- Sebastian Mego- 12/15- It's okay. Haven't heard the song yet, but I hope it's extremely good.

6. Jump To The Rhythm- Jordan Pruitt- 15/15- LOVE THIS SONG!! The song is extremely catchy. Has a mix of pop, dance, R&B and hip-hop in a cool way.

7. Jumpin!- Keke Palmer: 15/15- KEKE DOES IT AGAIN!! She's singing another song from the follow-up "It's My Turn Now" I saw the music video on Disney Channel and it rocks. Hoping that it will be on Radio Disney somehow. Keep it up, Palmer!

8. Go!- Jupiter Rising- 12/15- Haven't heard the song, but I hear it's pretty good and a catchy song.

9. I'm Ready- Drew Seeley- 13/15- Haven't heard the song before, but I would hope it's a pretty good song.

10. Gotta Lotta- Prima J- 14/15- I'm thinking it's a good song for the movie, though it might be in the Double-Dutching scenes.

11. Live It Up- Jeannie Ortega- 14/15- It's a good song for the Double-Dutching scenes and everyone will love this song.

12. Jump- Lil' Josh- 15/15- This song puts the WOW in the WOW Factor! Love this song. Hip-hop at early age. So cool. I heard it on Radio Disney and it's a cool song, even if it's made for Hip-Hop for little rappers.

13. Let It Go- Kyle- 11/15- Not the best song I heard, but it should be okay, even if it's really cool.

If you love Jump In!, you gotta buy the Soundtrack and the DVD. It's awesome!

My 4 year old daughter just loves this CD and I must say, the songs are really good for this teenage group. The songs are inspirational to kids and I am so happy they have positive lyrics. Great purchase!
