This shoe is so cute. It could have been the perfect mid-height high heeled little black shoe for me, but it was too tight. Since the shoe industry has gone insane selling unwearable high heels, cute medium height shoes are getting hard to come by. The problem I had was the toe box was very narrow. I wear a true 8.5 medium and this shoe was way too narrow in the toe box. Also, even with the stretch elastic on the back sling strap this shoe felt tight through the slingback strap. The strap should be snug but the elastic should also be supple and comfortable, easy to stretch to the right fit on the sling strap. It wasn't. It was tight and uncomfortable. I would have ordered a half size up to see if that helped but it was sold out in the next size up so I bet that means that it would help. There was no wide width available either so sadly these cute shoes will have to go back to Amazon. If they come back in stock a half size up I will try again. They are really, really cute shoes so if you have medium feet that are on the very narrow and slightly short side, they may be the shoe for you.

The first reviewer was right about the toebox being too tight. I was really pleased with the design of the shoe and couldn't wait to try these on. They are very nice and sexy and seem to be well-made. I wear a size 6.5 medium and have never had to order shoes in wide, but these are a bit too tight. The slingback was not a problem fit for me, but the heels are on the heavy side and make an annoying flapping sound when you walk, much like wearing flip-flops. I hate to give them up because they are such a nice looking shoe, but back they go.
