Product Description

Waboba... sorta strangely named and even more strangely, this ball bounces on water. This brilliant invention is what larking about in water was invented for. Forget lobbing frisbee at each other in the pool or at the beach, this hackey-sack sized little monster bounces off the water like you wouldn't believe. Keep your eye on the ball as it skips across water, blink and you'll miss it. Watch as it hits a wave and rifles high into the stratosphere. You'll need determination and quick reactions to dive and catch this sucker. There's even a brilliant Waboba team game to play with your mates. Yes, it's deviously designed and made with polyurethane and has a Lycra coating. The mix of different polyurethanes makes the ball bounce and float on water! The ball is made to endure some pretty rough handling.

4.0 out of 5 stars Waboba in Hawaii, July 2, 2010
By
This review is from: Waboba Water Bouncing Ball
I live on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Today I went to a sand bar out in the ocean where the sand is white and the water is only about 2-3 feet deep. It looks like about a square mile of beach just under the water but out in the middle of the ocean. About 20 people were in our party.

I brought a Woboba and the football was no longer the star of the party. It's pretty amazing how it bounces so well over the water. Coolest beach toy ever. Children can play with it also. It would sting if you really chucked it hard and it bounced in to someone's face but there is no way it would seriously injure a person because it is soft and squishy. It works perfectly on a windy day. Wind does not affect it because of its size and weight.

It's not hard to see in a clear blue ocean with white sand just under it. but I do wish it was made in a way that there is no way you could miss it as it is fairly small.

It is easy to throw the ball a long ways if you skip it right. The entire time we were playing around with the ball, I was thinking about some type of mitt to help catch the ball. I see they make one after coming home and looking it up on the internet.

If you spend a lot of time in the ocean and enjoy chasing things around, get one. It's safe, original, easy to skip and throw, and really fun.

It is also not cheap, small, and subsequently hard to catch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great FUN, April 30, 2010
This review is from: Waboba Water Bouncing Ball
Unless you've got an olympic-sized pool, true - this isn't a pool toy. It's much better at a lake or the beach. Easy to throw - challenging to catch as it skims off the water. It's AWESOME in the waves. Best money I ever spent to enhance my day at the beach!

ENJOY THE FUN! Check out the website and see how it works...[...]
