This is an excellent product, but not for the weak of heart!

It begins with a slight tickling at your fingertips, but it eventually progresses to an extremely painfull shock that runs up to your shoulder.

I challenged the guys in my youth group to this game and beat or tied all of them - you can only tie your opponent if you make it through all of the rounds and no one lets go of their handle. (The last round is a constant, excruciating shock for about twenty seconds.)

I highly recommend this product to pain-tolerant, slightly daredevil-ish people.

brought the shock duel to thanksgiving with my family. we all had a great time with it. even my grammom got into the action! was a good time!

My son saw this somewhere right before his 15th birthday this summer and just HAD to have it. He sent me links to websites where I could buy it, talked about it, etc.

So on his birthday, he was very excited to open it up and play with it. And I'll admit, it kept our entire family interested for at least an hour. Then he finagled the neighborhood kids into trying it, then his own friends. And he does bring it out during birthday parties, everyone wants to give it a try.....But now it sits forlorn on a shelf in his room. Until he or one of his brothers come up with a nefarious plan in which to use it again.

A buddy convinced me that this was the most fun game ever. I was kinda dissapointed in the "power" behind the shocks. Now that the initial thrill of this game has worn off and it's just sitting on a shelf, I wish I had saved my money.

The four-handle shock game is more entertaining because 4 people can play, but this one induces more zinging pain. For reasons I don't understand, guys can't seem to resist playing these shock games. We bring this one and the four-handle version out every New Year's Eve and limit the players to those age 15 and older. More frequent appearances would probably make the games less enticing. It's dumb, but fun (especially as a spectator!).

The anticipation for the next shock is most of the fun. Trying to handle the jolt is also exciting.

This is one fun toy to have for parties or just little get togethers with family and friends.

So who is the one who can last the longest, most of the time, women can beat the men, just because they can't take the pain.

woot was selling these one day during a woot off, and they looked so damn interesting, I ended up buying the maximum of 3 of these units for the discounted price they had going. My friend and I faced off with 1 of the units and decided it wasn't brutal enough, so we threw batteries into a 2nd unit and were facing off with a shock joystick in each hand. This made things far more interesting, and we decided to create a drinking game incorporating this fun little toy. Here are the rules we've come up with. We're expecting great fun at parties to come!

The SHOCKING drinking game.

2 people face off and grab the shock controllers when signaled by the time keeper/announcer and they will start a stopwatch. The game begins with a staring contest. Individuals will turn toward their spotter and drink when specified and go back to staring when specified. Drinks will be taken through a straw for the duration of the drink period. If you blink during or turn away during the staring portion you lose. If you fail to drink during a drinking portion, you lose. If you let go of either of the shock joysticks during the game at any time, you lose. Consequence of loss will be determined before the beginning of the game.

This product will make any party or gathering much more fun. You cannot go wrong with this shockingly fun item.

I didn't expect too much from this "toy." I bought it for my boyfriend's son for Christmas as a kind of stocking stuffer. Surprisingly, everyone actually wanted to play. From 55 to 12, every age in the room wanted a go at it. What was really fun was that younger girls that were there wanted to and did play, as well! They even beat some of the boys!

It shocks but not horribly. I know my boyfriend's youngest son did say that he still felt some tingling in his shoulder several minutes later (he made it to a higher "level") but nothing that hurt or disturbed anyone.

All in all, a great toy. Not for kids that are too young but definitely for the teens/young adults. Hey, even adults! We enjoyed it, too!
