Thanks to Jumpin' Jim Beloff for another great song booklet. Whether you're a 'uke novice or have been playing for years, this is one you'll want to add to your collection. Just the intro from Dick Dale is worth the price of admission! As with any of Jim's songbooks, you might not be that attracted to all of the songs, but you'll find one or two that you love, and want to add to your playlist at the next open mic.

Another must have book from the Jumpin' Jim collection. Loads of fun tunes for uke. Again the only thing that would make this better is to have a play along CD with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lot's of fun!, July 1, 2008

I'm new at the ukulele and am enjoying many of Jumpin Jim's books. This one is filled with songs I can play and songs I aspire to play. The tunes are fun: many are familiar which makes it easier. Not all are politically correct... one song has lyrics about meeting a girl: "if her daddy's rich, I'll buy her a meal; If her Daddy's poor, I'll do as I like with her..."

Yes, every now and then an old ukulele tune will shock your senses. Still, the tunes, chords, and rhythms are fun. I like that some of the pieces are challenging so I always have something to work on as well as tunes I can play.

Bravo!

4.0 out of 5 stars Wish there was a CD, March 14, 2011

Good book, easy'ish songs for my beginner friend. 6.75 Wide x 10.50 High.

See my image for the song listing.

Wish there was a CD of the songs in Ukulele format - something to 'bite' but I guess the RIAA would get their cut and this book with CD would cost $100s!
