A bit repetitive but full of energy,
By Thor (WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Jumping All Over The World (MP3 Download)
First i would like to say that I LOVE SCOOTER!!! they are the band that first got me interested into electronic music ( i am happy to say that my tastes have evolved past their sound). Their past two CDs i must say were disappointing particularly "The Ultimate Aural Orgasm" after that CD i was a little sick to my stomach. However i heard the single "the question is..." and became curious as to what other new songs they had as their sound seemed to have gone back to the 90's. Upon listening to this CD expecting nothing great i was happy to discover that i was wrong. This CD is full of energy and is very catchy. The singles "the question is..." and "And No Matches" are amazing tracks that really do make you want to jump.
The only problem that i have with the cd is that because the band decided to keep the "jumpstyle" theme throughout the CD it has a very simple bass line that really does not change. another problem that i have is that while lisening to the CD (and this is for those thjat know what im talking about) the bass line began to move from a playful sound that is normally associated with jumpstyle to one that was heavier that would be more associated with "hardjump" or the "melborn-shuffle" however over all i really like the CD and while a little repetitive it is definatly a fun cd just to pop in and run to or just make a fool of yourself by dancing to it.
