I bought a pr. of purple Mary Jane's by Jumping Jacks and rated them high. They are every bit as food as Primigi's for 1/2 the price, same sturdy quality & superb styling. Was so pleased with those I decided to try these loafers. My granddaughter wears a uniform to school so I thought these would be cute, and they are! They actually look nicer than this photo depicts. While she couldn't wear them because she has a wide foot with a high instep. I'm still giving them an excellent rating because of their overall great quality. Just do not buy them for a kid who doesn't have a narrow foot. The top of this loafer is unforgiving for wider feet and high insteps. I did not return them, just passed them on to another little girl with a smaller foot. They're not wearing as well as the Jumping Jack Mary Jane's but thats any loafer for a kid. Still very fond of this brand. Tired of Primigi's pricing. These are a comparable brand.

I bought these mainly because my daughter's feet are so long and thin that she has to use special-made in-soles in her regular-sized shoes, so I wanted to see if these would do the trick.
Not only are these shoes lovely, they fit like a glove, so she doesn't have to wear the insoles when she puts them on. In fact, my daughter doesn't really like black and I was a little worried she wouldn't like them, but she can't seem to get enough of these shoes because they are so comfy and elegant. Beware, however, because I'm not sure they will fit a child with regular-sized feet.
Anyway, if a 6 year old raves about a pair of shoes it must be because they're really good!!!!
