This DVD series is one of the best instructional DVD sets out there. Great for any one who wants to increase JKD knowledge, beginning & Advanced.

The partnership between Balicki and Cold Steel has bottled lightning. If i was a martial arts video business/producer i would be very worried about my business with this offering. What Balicki has done here is used the full potential of the DVD format to give the viewer an almost 14 hour tour de force that is going to set the standard for martial art instruction DVD's in the 21st century. The 8 DVD set gives you about maybe 3 years worth of instruction and material. the price of the set is justified. Its an investment that will pay dividends you will return to again and again. He even puts the kung fu community to shame by providing what i think is the best explanation and instruction ever committed to video on the wing chun/JKD wooden dummy set. The material on the wooden dummy is worth the price of the DVD set alone. Based on this i hope that Cold Steel and Balicki will continue to collaborate and produce and release instructional videos of such high quality. |
