This is a must have ruler in your supply. Strip cutting is must faster. I can cut a baby quilt up in less than 15 minutes with this ruler. As a beginning quilter I can make my cuts for larger quilts in half the time I use to. I wish I had learned of this ruler a year ago.

This is a replacement for the one that broke. It only broke after 3 years and over 100 blankets I made using it. My friends were cutting theirs by hand until I invited them over to see the quicker easier way and we all have one now. There was only one problem, I went to 3 Joanns stores and they didn't have them so I went to Amazon and there they were. Amazon sent it right away so I am back to making blankets. Thanks Amazon!

I bought this to use for quilting and love it! The slotted grooves work great with my rotary cutter and everything looks perfect when I'm done. It measure 1/2 inches in the grooves, which makes everything just right to make 3" squares when sewn. It also is relatively durable. What more could you ask for? The only thing I haven't used is the triangle lines. I have a separate ruler for those. Great investment.

Love this ruler, since it easily holds down the fabric on both sides of your cut there is no curve in the strips. Slots are ½ inch but if a different size is needed it is easy to just measure and mark your fabric line up a slot on this ruler and cut away. They tend to bow if you store them on edge but I use big binder clips and hang all my rulers in the closet.

LOOOOOVE THIS THING! I don't know how I ever got by before I got this. I have been using it for a few years now for cutting quilting pieces & some sewing patterns & it's still in pretty good shape. It is covered in scratches from "misses" with the rotary cutter but that is due to user error & LOTS of use. You have to be careful & really make sure you get the cutter down into the slats before trying to cut to save on such wear & tear. This is my most-used piece of sewing equipment next to my thimble & needles & is a must for easy cutting of straight lines. Just don't try to cut through more than 2 layers of basic cotton cloth & expect it to cut through cleanly - just a little tip I picked up from my experience!

The June Tailor Shape Cut Ruler is everything I hoped it would be! Looking for a square ruler to help me cut 10" squares for a quilt I was making from fabric bought off the roll, I came accross this ruler at Amazon.com and decided to give it a try. It came undamaged in a sturdy box sent to my address in Europe. Thank you Amazon for good parcel service too! Have cut all kinds of size strips and squares with it and it will remain an essential tool in my sewing room! The slots in the ruler are the secret trick that makes all the difference. I love it and can highly recommend it. I watched a video instruction on the internet prior to my purchase, showing all the benefits of this ruler.
