5.0 out of 5 stars Ingram Hill is on their way
Let me say something that I don't say very often these days. June's Picture Show is one of the best additions to my cd collection in quite some time. 3.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a disappointment
I was kinda generous in giving this 3 stars just because I love "Will I Ever Make it Home". I have to say that most of the CD is boring with the exception of the track following WIEMIH.

Let me say something that I don't say very often these days. June's Picture Show is one of the best additions to my cd collection in quite some time. From the opening track, you can't help but be hooked by the catchy beats, the lyrics that are full of emotion and the voice of Justin Moore. It's not that often these days that you get to listen to a voice that is as unique as Moore's. The combination of guitar, bass and drums in Ingram Hill is a unique blend that is also refreshing.

"Chicago" might quite possibly be one of the best songs about lost love and wanting that love back with no pressure, while "Hangin' Around Again" is the song that will remind you of what you were like when you would do whatever you had to do to win someone's love. "On My Way" is a song everyone wants to sing since it will remind you of what you wish you could have said to the person that hurt you the most, while "Maybe It's Me" will make you wonder if you were the one to blame with that lost love.

This cd also comes with some enhanced web features that include a live version of Almost Perfect that shows this band is even more amazing in person and a download of an additional song, "Call It My Way", which is not on the cd.

If you are still debating this purchase, stop thinking about it and buy it. You will not regret it.

"June's Picture Show" is a really cool CD. There's something charming and unique about Justin Moore's voice, and the sound melodies/lyrics are great, as well!
Also, I have never met an individual that didn't like "June's Picture Show." All of my roomates and many friends have bought "June's Picture Show," and they can't wait until the next time Ingram Hill comes to our area! Overall, Ingram Hill is just a completely awesome band.

5.0 out of 5 stars unbelievable! Great stuff!!, June 15, 2006
This review is from: June's Picture Show (Audio CD)
Usually I never buy CDs I never heard before. I've got the recommendation from pandora dot com. This is a great CD - one of the best I've bought in last years. It's a perfect mix of melodic rock music. It reminds me on Train, Lifehouse, Casting Crowns an a little on Three Doors Down. Just buy it and you will love it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars These Memphis Boys Rock, January 8, 2005

The CD is awesome, but they are even better live. No question they are one of the hardest working bands out there. Go to their website at ingramhillmusic.com and check out the amount of shows they play. If they come to a city near you, be there.

Hopefully, their hard work will pay off!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD from a Great Live Band, March 6, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: June's Picture Show (Audio CD)
As a self-proclaimed music lover, and a small time music critic, June's Picture Show is one of the most promising albums I've heard in a long time. Ingram Hill far surpasses excpectations with the first major label release for the band. If you want a band with heart, whose live show surpasses the greatness of the album, buy June's Picture Show. It'll be the best 12.00 bucks you've spent on music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection, March 2, 2004

Justin Moore's voice is AMAZING.. IH has got some major talent. They wrote their own songs, all which are brilliant and emotional (minus the cheese.) This is one of those CD's you can listen to from start to finish without skipping a single song. Since IH switched to Hollywood Records a few songs have been slightly altered and sound a bit overproduced; for example, "Almost Perfect" now has a faster pace, a couple of lyrics were added, and the melody of the bridge was changed. I think the version from Until Now is better, but it's still a great song and is still one of my favorites. This CD is definitely worth the money.

Favorite Songs:
"Chicago"
"Never Be The Same"
"Slippin' Out"
"Almost Perfect"
"On My Way"
"Will I Ever Make It Home"
"Maybe It's Me"
"Hangin' Around Again"

5.0 out of 5 stars Filling the Hole Left by Toad, May 16, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: June's Picture Show (Audio CD)
I heard the ending of "Almost Perfect" at Blockbuster Video a few weeks ago and thought it sounded like something off toad the wet sprocket's Fear album. I checked out their web site and got hooked on every tune, especially "The Captain," "Chicago," and "Will I Ever Make It Home."

These guys are more upbeat and jangly than toad, but they still fill the hole that's been left since toad broke up. The lyrics denote the kinds of questions we usually ask during periods of transition and uncertainty. They're not flashy, just honest like Counting Crows and Sister Hazel.

It's middle-of-the-road post-grunge pop that's miles ahead of Three Doors Down and others who try to look tough without any real songwriting capability or originality.

I have seen Ingram Hill a few times and they are amazing. They have so much energy and enthusiasm for what they are doing onstage that one cannot help but fall in love with their sound. I bought the cd after the first time I saw them and it is one of the best cd's I have ever bought. I would highly recommend "June's Picture Show" to anyone looking for a breath of fresh air in their music collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta Hear Gotta See These Guys!, January 9, 2005
This review is from: June's Picture Show (Audio CD)
I heard these guys for the first time while playing slots in Reno. I followed the sound and was blown away. I loved their performance and their music. They really looked like they were having fun and this filters through to their music. I purchased CD immediately after the show. I love every track and when asked which is my favorite, could not choose. They are all great. My advice is buy the album and if you find they are headed your way, go and see them!
