"L.V. Lewis is a five star author with the potential to control the romance genre!" ~ MCS Film Review Team

Ok y'all this is a must read! 50 shades was the first romance novel I ever fully read and I loved this ten times more than I love that series. This Duology has everything! It's serious, SEXY, SIZZLING HOT, and so funny!. . .This price is insanely awesome for what you're going to get. An awesome read! I highly recommend this Duology! ~coolreader~

I wasn't interested in the 50 shades of grey phenomenon so when I kept getting this book as a recommendation I was skeptical. I finally indulged and I'm SO glad I did... I absolutely loved 50 shades of jungle fever! I found it to be hilarious but the budding connection between Tristan and Keisha was alluring. . . . They each have their fair share of baggage but they're able to look past that and indulge in their desires. ~ NSM

More About the Author

Growing up, L.V. Lewis wanted to be an internationally known rock star, but unfortunately, lived in the wrong part of the country to pursue that career (and neither American Idol nor The Voice were available then). An early love for the written word gave her the plan B she sought. Her career as a contract manager was not creative writing by a long shot, but it didn't require her to spend the hundreds of thousands of dollars required for a law degree. It does pay the bills while she dabbles in the publishing world as an author on the evenings and weekends.

LV lives in Florida with her husband. They are the parents of four children, three of whom don't think they need their parents anymore, so they share their home with a sweet female German Shepherd and an alpha male Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix who thinks he rules the world.
Her love for writing is only eclipsed by her love for her family.

Even though Fifty Shades of Jungle Fever is a parody of fifty shades of grey I tend to find that it doesn’t resemble it very much, apart from the BDSM it has its own suspenseful, yet funny story line. I loved it very much and it cracked me up most of the time. Keisha is funny and the chemistry between her and Tristan is great, the ending made me look forward to read book two immediately and let me just say that, that one didn’t disappoint either…I would definitely recommend this book.

Exit Strategy picks up, right where Fifty Shades of Jungle Fever ended and let me just say that this sequel flowed flawlessly back into the story. In book one Keisha leaves Tristan after having another one of her episodes, she decides to put an end to their arrangement mostly out of fear that she might love him but it’s too late for her because she’s already fallen hard for him. And while Tristan’s trying his best to act as if he doesn’t care about her in that way he can’t stop thinking about her either, they find a way back to each other and all the fun and excitement in the grotto continues until the suspenseful parts in the book start to play out. In my opinion this book is even better than the first one and I want to give a big kudos to Ms. Lewis because I love to read suspense books and when I do, I always, well almost always guess who’s behind of everything before the plot reveals the perpetrator but she managed to have me second guessing myself the entire time...man, I really didn’t see this one coming and now I’m anxiously awaiting for book 3 to come out…

This was my original review from reading 50SoJF, which can be found in my older reviews!

You have the no nonsense heroine who is about as opposite as you can get from the hero yet they manage to find balance in BDSM. They each have their fair share of baggage but they're able to look past that and indulge in their desires. Keisha is scared and intimidated for a variety of reasons... Tristan is unlike any man she's "dated." He's white, he's rich, he's Dominant, and he pushes her outside of her comfort zone which is a big no no. The cliffhanger ending had me on edge for sure! I recommend this book if you're looking for a laugh, something that turns 50 shades of grey on its head, and you're a wee bit curious as to what can happen when a girl from the hood meets what can potentially be her kinky Prince Charming. LV, I'm looking forward to book two!

Fifty Shades of Jungle Fever introduces you to Tristan and Keisha. Tristan is immediately attracted to Keisha and vice versa. After spending some time with Tristan she finds that his lifestyle isn't like the normal lifestyle. Keisha decides to take a chance and participates in his lifestyle. Throughout it all you will see their relationship grow even though he doesn't want to fall in love. I absolutely loved this book and looking forward to seeing what will happen in book two.

First I have to say that I absolutely loved Exit Strategy!!!! Exit Strategy opens up where Fifty Shades of Jungle Fever which is the first book left off. Keisha is so undecided about this BDSM lifestyle she is in with Tristan because of the feelings she has for him. Tristan doesn’t want to admit to having any feelings but he soon realizes and admits to his feelings for Keisha. They have to deal with some issues from their past if they want to move forward. I can say that this was definitely worth the wait and I cannot wait to see what is going to happen with Nate and Jada.

I did not know what to expect when a friend said I should read this book, I am so glad I did. Yes this book is a parody from Fifty Shades of Grey but that is not all it is this book is a Wonderful funny story, a sexy story, a emotional story. I really like Tristan and Keisha together I was afraid Keisha would be a ghetto ignorant character, she is nothing like that she is a educated black woman so don't let the title fool you. Tristan is a character you will fall in love with he is a sexy Dom and a caring person and does not play games when it comes to business. I am ready for the next story now I really need to know what happens next.

I will admit I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, I only picked it because of the good reviews I read. The title and cover art almost kept me from reading it, but I'm so glad I did! I have a like-hate relationship with the original Fifty Shades of Grey. But this female lead is so much more likeable and interesting. And while I wanted to murder the author of the original for the unnecessary use of an "inner goddess" and "conscious" I love that this author knows how ridiculous it is and has fun with it. All in all the improved storyline, character development, and superior writing skills make this book much more likeable to the original it only slightly resembles. Trust me you wanna read it.
