Hello, my name is Eve and I am a Canadian author who loves to write hot romance, usually with hot shifters, cyborgs or aliens. I should warn you that I possess a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing.

I love to write, and while I don't always know what my mind is going to come up with next, I can promise it will be fun, probably humorous and most of all romantic, because I love a happily ever after.

Thanks so much for coming by and checking me out. If you'd like to know more, read some excerpts or find out what's coming next, then please visit me at http://www.EveLanglais.com

I've stalked all of Eve's books for the last few years. Her stories are always just the right length, humor, sex, romance... they keep me coming back every time and they don't disappoint..

Carlie is doing research with others out in the jungle when her and 2 other girls are kidnapped. She awakes in her "closed" tent to find a cat, more specifically a jaguar... after spotting two jaguars she ends up being drugged and carted off. For those of you who've read book 3 you'll remember Ruth's adventures and her going after her missing sister Carlie.

Acat and his friend Chaob are sent on a quest to find their brides by the tribes Shaman. They are both a little skeptical but when they catch her scent, they realize the shaman was right. Unfortunately for them, they aren't allowed to tell their soon to be bride anything, because of traditions. Supposedly things go wrong if the bride is talked to/comforted before her change. So, Carlie just thinks they don't speak English...they speak Mayan around her and she thinks they understand her because of certain things she sees in their eyes but they don't speak up until after the mating has been completed.

Carlie is a strong female character, who has a mind of her own, and trouble follows her throughout the book. Luckily for her, her mates are never far behind her and they keep her safe.

Acat has some trust issues with letting his mate go anywhere, especially not towards civilization since he worries about losing her. Chaob thinks they should give her some freedom or they'll lose her.
Will Carlie's mates give her the space/freedom she needs to explore her new side and her budding love for them or will they squish her freedom and keep her prisoner?

Always a perfect story with enough twists and questions.

As an avid Eve Langlais follower I was quite excited after reading her Delicate Freakn' Shifter novel, but I was not happy with this sequel. Acat and his childhood friend leave their jungle jaguar tribe to find their mate in a threesome mating since Acat's crazed elderly grandfather proclaimed it. It turns out that their mate is an American (which is looked down upon in their tribe) and it is custom that they steal their mate and leave gold...I was not impressed with this unoriginal portion of this story. During this trial period they have traditions that they must follow and turn her into a jaguar via a potion drink (which I've never heard of in any paranormal novel, its always a bite or saliva contact)and do not speak to her the entire journey and she is scared out of her mind for days. But their "connection" has her forget all about the fact that she was kidnapped and drugged; Acat is horrid to Carlie but it was O.K because he's an alpha. I felt that this novel was superficial and lacking since as a reader I did not feel drawn into these characters at all since Eve did not give any depth to any of the characters (besides the crazed grandpa, I think she did a great job there)and had no reason to understand why they were mates or how they balanced each other as a trio. In the end Carlie takes them both as mates and ends up happy even though their relationship is still rocky and left semi unresolved. I love exotic tales but sadly I felt that this was not her best piece. But I do like her other novels.

I love the Freakn' series and this one didn't disappoint. I was afraid that reading this after Freakn' and Human would be strange because of the time frames of the stories, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. I love this series and can't wait for the next book.

I read this after I read human and freakn'. I think these stories are very enjoyable and engaging. There is little angst and no sorrow or anti-heros. It was a nice light romp and provided a few hours of smiles and laughter.

LMBO.... Leave it to Eve, to throw a woman in the middle of the jungle, have two men that don't speak English kidnap her, then get her all sexually frustrated and do nothing. This story was just too funny! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time and believe me I needed it.

The characters are really well suited for each other. I really loved the bartering between Acat and Charlie, it made the story feel so real. Plus it goes to show you, don't expect an America woman to just roll over and submit to the jungle ways. With Acat the dominate and Chaob the beta, they both work their magic in keeping their wild American woman all to themselves. You get m/f/m sex, with anal, so beware for a smoking hot time.

Eve has gone full blown novel nowadays, so you really get to go deeper into the story and characters. I personally love it, as she doesn't know how long I have been waiting for her to really expand her stories. I recommend this to anyone who loves a sexy, downright funny romance.

    Stu up next?
Hello! I thought I'd jump in and mention that yes, Stu is getting his own story, and soon. As for after that...it will depend on the characters :) Javier has a few other brothers that might be fun to play with lol.
    Happy reading,
