Amongst the prominent dance artists of the 1980's, Divine was quite a character. The expert production by Bobby Orlando and Mark Bauman lends the music a very accessible edge, while the songs are catchy and often humorous. Unlike today's Techno, these songs have lots of personality and soul while the driving electrobeat make them enduring dancefloor winners. My favorite is the evergreen title track with its humorous lyrics and dramatic production, making you laugh while you boogie. Sure it's tacky and vulgar, but intentionally so and all the more charming for that. This album proves that Divine was more than just the eccentric star of Hairspray and Pink Flamingos, and that he had real musical talent.

There are not many one name performers(Cher,Madonna,ect.) who strike an emotional chord like Divine. His music is as outrageous as he was and will leave you speechless!!

If you were 'out' dancing in the 80's, you heard Divine! This is one of many of Divine albums that is worth the admission price! Enjoy.
