My Parrot Loves It, September 19, 2010

I have an African Gray Parrot and I have to say that she loves the Jungle Talk "Slide 'N Spin." She's on her third one, now, and I just put it in her cage. How do I know she loves it? She doesn't pay much attention to other toys I give her, for one thing. But more telling is this: She finally broke the last one a couple of days ago (if you have a parrot or cockatoo, then you expect them to be torn apart -- it's perfectly normal and not a reflection of how well a toy is made). I bought a new one that night, but didn't put it in until this afternoon. She was out of her cage and getting her back in the cage can be a chore. When I showed her the new toy, she climbed right onto her perch and started playing with it, and forgetting all about me. To me, that says she recognizes it as the same as the other one and she's more than happy to chew on the frame and spin the wooden and plastic bits around.
Seriously, I really hope this toy never gets discontinued because I don't think she'll ever get tired of it.
