1.0 out of 5 stars Noisy nightmare, August 19, 2007
By
This review is from: Junior Disney Princess Ready Bed (Misc.)
I brought 2 of these "beds": One for my 5 year old and one for my 3 year old (as they have a sleep-over in our bedroom every weekend). The product was met with rave reviews by the children who adored sleeping on the Disney characters. The set-up of the mattresses was relatively easy and the pumping was not bad at all, in fact, the kids could do it themselves. But when it was time to sleep, the mattresses proved to be a nightmare: They are SO loud. Whenever the kids stretched, or changed position or simply breathed, the mattresses would make a loud and irritating sound. None of us were able to sleep that night. I tried using the mattress without cover but the problem persisted. I washed the covers (thinking the squeaking might resolve) but again, no sleep. The mattresses are now (2 weeks after buying them) deflated and tucked in storage (where they belong).

1.0 out of 5 stars Sleepless nights blow up bed, April 29, 2009
This review is from: Junior Disney Princess Ready Bed (Misc.)
We got the Dora version of the same bed and although it was easy to inflate, the bed itself proved to be useless. Once they rolled over, the entire bed would roll, putting them on the floor and the blow up portion of the bed over them. Total scare for them!! I'll probably sell them in my next yard sale and say we never used them. Atleast I wouldn't be lying.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy it!!!!, February 4, 2009
This review is from: Junior Disney Princess Ready Bed (Misc.)
It looks cute...and you think your daughter will love it...but trust me...it's a horrible product. I read the review and bought it anyway and man am I dissappointed.

The mattress is hard to inflate and does not hold the air. The mattress itself is also very hard (does not conform to the kids body) so my kids were constantly rolling off it onto the floor and then waking up crying. You would be better off buying them a regular sleeping bag...it would be more comfortable and less cumbersome.
