While there are many books for adults, young golfers have few resources from which to learn the game. The Junior Golf Book is an illustrated how-to, offering basic lessons for juniors and tips for parents who want to teach their children.

Beginning with an introduction to parts of a golf course, this book is organized as a sequence of ten lessons, covering every aspect of golf in simple terms that any beginner can understand. The book includes chapters on:

-Gripping the club correctly
-Putting, iron shots, and wood play
-Trickier shots from sand and rough
-How to buy or make equipment for juniors
-Basic golf rules, etiquette, and common terms
-How to arrange tee times, figure your handicap, and keep score.

The Junior Golf Book is a useful introduction to enjoying a lifetime of golf.

This review is from: The Junior Golf Book (Hardcover)
The Junior Golf Book is slow at the beginning. if you never have played golf,it explains the vocabular of the course, clubs and edicate. when it get into the learning to swing part it keeps it very simple not to overwelm the new golfer. the book gives you just enough to get the kids started to learn the basics of the swing.
