Not for everybody, but it is great music.,

I only gave this cd four stars because i liked dreaming of revenge (another of her cd's) better. The tracks without vocals take some time to get used to but are nice in their own way; the combination of her unique guitar style and smooth ethereal vocals make it worth the money. It is a complete cd too, developing her style with a thematic inclusion and highlight of a talented percussion musician.

Kaki King is brilliant. I own all her albums. That said, the unrelenting bitterness in the lyrics over a recent break-up make this album less enjoyable than past efforts. "Falling Day' is amazing but Kaki needs to 'get over it'.
