This CD features friends and tourmates The Dismemberment Plan and Juno, each doing one original song, plus one hand-picked cover. Originally, this EP was released on vinyl in Spain, which was the only place you could hear "The Dismemberment Plan Gets Rich" outside of its prominence in their live show.

The song stands out as the best track on the album, a hyper rap-text over frenetic beats, charting the goofy, ficticious adventures of the band as they splurge their "fame money." Jokes abound in the song, exemplifying the energy and quirkiness that makes the band so innovative: "Spent a couple mil/ on the soundman Phil/ so he could run for senate. He lost in the primary/ but we still love him."

Next, Juno parades in with their single, a very smooth, straightforward, and lyrically charged outing, an expansive epic showing their fluidity and maturity as a band. For both bands, the bursts of energy are unpredictable and impeccably timed. They won't slow down...

This is proven by the snappy, dynamic cover by Juno: their take on DJ Shadow's "High Noon." The EP is then rounded out by the Plan's intensely spooky, tongue-in-cheek cover of the 80s bubblegum hit by Jennifer Paige, "Crush." This is the most exciting, exciteable EP in months, and a genuine find.
