This fabulous double CD captures a magical reunion of Juan Gabriel and Rocio Durcal, a performance from June 24, 1999 at Teatro Degalado de Guadalajara Jalisco. And the ONLY thing BETTER is to see the performance available on VHS. It, too, is just too wonderful!

It's no wonder these two have done so well, and to reunite combining their voices again, for an historic night to remember is magical! Superstar, songwriter Juan Gabriel performs with the beautiful velvety voice of Rocio Durcal. No one can ever sound like Juan Gabriel; it must be that nasal throaty sound that only he projects. His partner again, Rocio Durcal also has an enjoyed a career in movies and in 1977 she recorded 10 compositions written by Juan Gabriel, as he was her influence. So beautiful is their duet hit "El Destino" (The Destiny.) It is a soothing love ballad brilliantly composed by Gabriel.

Enjoy the musical exuberance of "Mariachi Vargas" and "Mariachi de Mi Tierra". I have a taste for a variety of musical styles, but nothing can beat the sounds of mariachi! Listen to mariachi magic in "El Principio" and "Verdadero Amor." Various slower songs are enhanced with that orchestral ambiance to bring dimension to the music. Hear the calming instrumental "El Final". The duets "Juntos" and "Que Bonito Es Santa Fe" are both lively and danceable favorites.

Gabriel and Durcal exude this emotional chemistry when they duet on a love song "Dos Favores". This double CD offers a variety of their solos and duets! But, what is better is the VHS performance, go one step beyond and see the magic. I can't ever get tired of either. .....Rizzo.

Well. I have the CD's and is great, Specially I love the song El destino, and Me refugie en tu Juventud, I will give anything to see rocio sing that song. But I have a question How and where can I buy the VHS of this concert of Juntos otra vez. I will really be happy to get it. It will really make my day. I being looking for it but I couldn't find it. Excelent Cd.

This was a very great collection of songs put together.

A couple years ago I saw a phenomenal "Que Bonito es Santa Fe" music video with Juan Gabriel and Rocio Durcal (had never heard of her before seeing the video) and went in search of the song. I nearly didn't buy this CD set because it lists only Gabriel as the singer on "Que Bonito . . ." and I thought it wouldn't be the same as what I had seen. It surely sounds like the Gabriel/Durcal duet of the video, wild and wonderful. The whole double set is good, actually. The first disc has Gabriel and duets; the second Durcal and duets. The king and queen of Mexican music, together again. There's also a complete video out that includes most of the songs from the CD. It too is excellent.

Juan Gabriel and Rocio Durcal have done it again. I started listening to Juan Gabriel since 1986, and when my mother bought the previous 2 tapes (Frente A Frente Vol 1 & 2) I thought I had herd some of the most beautiful songs ever song by a duet. But with this CD, they have surpassed the old ones (don't get me wrong, the old ones are also great but this is is better). If you like Juan Gabriel and Rocio Durcal, don't think twice about getting this CD. Just do it!

Once again Rocio Durcal and Juan Gabriel demonstrate their tremendous talents. This is a great C.D. that brings together two of the most talented people in the world. They make the perfect duo. Juan Gabriel is an extraordinary composer and Rocio Durcal has a very unique voice, a voice that is only heard once in a hundred years. I recommend this C.D. to everyone.

Rocio is his best singer. I love the way her voice sounds. Hi is the MOST talented composer of our time. I love all his songs. They are very inspired.

Creo que la union de estos dos colosos de la musica latina es digna de un CD como este, Rocio, en excelente forma vocal y tan carismatica como siempre y Juanga, no tan bien como en otros discos, pero sin dudas respetable aun. Esta union es algo que habia sido esperado por mucho tiempo, enhorabuena...

I had this in tape back on 1997 when I started college. I downloaded it again a few years ago, and can't stop loving each and every track. I am so glad both Rocio and Juan Gabriel got to record this at that time. To this day, my favorite huapangos with Rocio and amazing duets are contained in this collection.

Eu gostei muito de todas as músicas do CD. Eu não conhecia nenhuma música mexicana e gostei dos diversos ritmos presentes no CD. Juan Gabriel escreveu letras incríveis. Rocio ducal tem uma voz maravilhosa. Recomendo muito.
