very happy, January 20, 2006

finally, after much research, bought this piccolo for xmas for my son age 11. he was able to play it right from start, easy transition from flute. He is entering NYSMMA (ny state music competition) with this instrument after only a month of practice. very happy with this choice, after much procrastination because I was unsure of which piccolo to choose. the lip plate is a must. Talked to vendor and he said even though Gemeindharts are better in general, Jupiter has a better warranty policy and always backs up product. even though it says the resin was available and initially that is what I wanted, the site does not allow you to order it. so you can only get the silver plated body. Contacted vendor directly, and he said it was sold out.
