A great pocket Trumpet for the money!, April 1, 2006

I've been a professional Trumpet Player for 35 years. I bought this trumpet and am very satisfied with it. Obviously its a beautiful looking horn & attention getter. Its well made and from Taiwan (not to be confused with those cheap and very poorly made Mainland Chinese ones). I know there are better pocket trumpets out there but you would have to pay a whole lot more. The Trumpet plays in tune with itself and has a big sound.
The trumpet case is of very high quality & it comes with a nice gig bag which really sweetens the deal!
Jupiter also has an excellent warranty and stands behind all of its its products. Be aware that I had a sticky valve problem with my horn and I traced it back to the Jupiter valve oil that came free with it. I'm not saying all Jupiter valve oil is bad but what I received was. I suggest if you have this problem clean out the valves throughly and use a high quality valve oil, in my case I used Al Cass Fast valve oil and I no longer have that problem. Remember this is a fun and unique knock around "gimmick" trumpet for advanced players. If you are a beginner a normal Bb trumpet is always recommended to learn on.
