Very nice, much improved from the milk container from the original product. Th 22oz is plenty big for what we use and normally we store afer 4 hours. Very easy to clean and taked up less room in the fridge, recommend buying.

The build quality is great on this. It does keep the milk cold for a long time outside the fridge.Unfortunately we recently switched to mainly using soy milk and it doesn't work very well for that. I'm not sure exactly what is happening but the soy quickly degrades and gets chunky and lumpy. The only thing I can think of is that there is some chemical reaction between the soy milk and the stainless steel. Highly recommended for all types of dairy milk.

Love this attachment! It keeps the milk really cold. It's easy to clean. I can put it right in the fridge.

I'm not sure if all Jura-Capresso super automatic machines come with some kind of milk holder like my Impressa S9 did, but it's elegant looking and works just fine. This will keep the milk colder longer (reportedly up to 8 hours), but how much trouble is it really to refill the original milk holder twice in eight hours and avoid the need for this altogether?I can see where this would be useful if you were having guests and making one drink after another, or if your machine was set up in a business, but otherwise it's a bit of overkill in my opinion. Though my S9 came with an elegant looking oval container with a chrome top for this purpose, if you use it you also need to take all the parts and tubes apart (not difficult at all) and soak them overnight in water mixed with a capful of Jura-Capresso 63801 Auto Cappuccino Concentrate. Then rinse and use again (or dry) the next morning. The cost of that cleaner adds up. The alternative is to buy a 20 ounce stainless frothing pitcher and steam your milk yourself. This is what I do since cleanup is much easier, and it's actually fun to do (though it is also fun to see the machine do it all itself with one of these hooked up to it). So, it's well designed, attractive, and recommended, if you have a need for it, but I expect most people really don't if they think about it. |
