Works fine in my C1000
Amazon had the lowest price I found on this filter which is the one specified for use with a Capresso C1000.

Badly Described
I gave only 3 stars not for the water filter itself (I'm sure it works fine on the right machine), but because the description of this item said it would fit my Jura espresso machine...AND IT DOESN'T! I carefully reviewed all of the descriptions on various water filters & bought this one specifically because it said it would fit & was the lowest price. Now I'm stuck...

Not a perfect fit for the Impressa F9,

The Claris filter is manufactured for the Jura Coffemakers, but does not fit the F9 perfectly.
It only has 3 slots to lock in place however the water container comes with 4 blades which should lock into 4 slots. It still fits, but the clearyl water filter has a better fit.

Apparently the Jura is so smart it tracks whether the filter is replaced in a timely fashion or not; if not replaced properly you may void your warranty. For me, it's worth spending a little extra on these filters so the machine functions properly and it never lets me down in making the very BEST cup coffee.

The Jura-Capresso 7520 water care cartridge fit li a glove. It delivers filtered water. I have been buying them for the past 4 years and have never had a problem. They last longer than other filters I have bought. I will remain with these filters. They are perfect.

I always use the cartridges with my Jura-Capresso. I have the machine in my motorhome, so the water from the tap can change a lot as we move around. The cartridge reduces the changes in flavor as well as helping keep the machine clean. I buy 4 at a time, and order again when I use the last one.

This was purchased for a Jura Impressa F9 coffee machine. It was easy to install, and it fit perfectly. How well it works is anyone's guess. I haven't tried operating the machine without a filter, but it seems possible. Anyway, the price of the filter seems like inexpensive insurance against potential problems due to water chemistry.
